Sangria Branca de Gin | White Gin Sangria

Olá,  eu realmente não queria falar sobre bebida nos primeiros posts... mas infelizmente vou postando a medida que for fazendo...e durante este fim de semana fiz o que eu gostaria de chamar de "Sangria Branca de Gin ".

Sangria é tipicamente a mistura de vinho e frutas, mas desde que eu me lembro, sangria é o que meu Pai fazia em casa quando éramos pequenos nas festas. Ele misturava refrescos com um pouco de vinho, álcool disponível (pouco álcool claro) e muitas e muitas frutas. Era realmente a única bebida alcoólica que podíamos beber para além de champanhe. A medida que fui crescendo tomei as rédeas das Sangrias e preparava para todo mundo,  misturando tudo que tinha desde Martini para whisky, Coca, Fanta, sumo e no final a fruta.

Eu posso dizer que eu tenho um talento para misturar bebidas :) pelo menos as pessoas gostam das minhas "misturas"... e acabo não fazendo a mesma bebida pois não tenho a receita, elas são resultados de misturas "aleatórias", por isso é praticamente impossível ter exactamente a mesma bebida novamente.

Algumas semanas atrás fui à casa da minha prima e me pediram que comprasse pelo caminho  sumo de uva verde. Comprei e ao chegar lá descobri que era para beber com gin, eu já provei Gin com muitas coisas (Vários sumos, refrescos, etc) , mas nunca com o sumo de uva verde ... Fiquei francamente surpreendida pela combinação, tinha um sabor bastante suave, pois a uva conseguia mascarar o sabor forte Gin e ficou muuuito nice.

 Então, esta semana fiquei com vontade de beber sangria , mas não com vinho tinto e outras coisas ... então eu pensei... ainda estou surpresa com aquela do  Gin e sumo de uva verde...que tal se fizer uma sangria daquilo?

Então eu fiz ... e aqui está a  " sangria branca de gin" ... (soa melhor em inglês). Ficou super super nice ! No dia seguinte, havia restado um pouco... é sabor ainda melhor após o liquido dormir na fruta e ter a infusão dos sabores durante a noite. Segue a receita, só não me perguntem pelas medidas meu moto é misturar ... mas eu posso dizer que eu usei muito pouco Gin ... mais o sumo de uva verde e sprite.

Façam vocês também a vossa sangria, a escolha das frutas é mesmo ao gosto, e acredito que podemos misturar Vodka, cachaça...o que nos der na telha.

Sangria Branca de Gin

Frutas ( usar como quiser )

morango

maçã

kiwi

ananás

uvas ( acho que as verdes seriam melhores )

Sprite ( refresco)

gin

sumo de uva verde( Ceres )

Basta misturar tudo e divertirem-se

I Really didn't want to be talking about the drinks in the first posts...but unfortunately I’ll be post as ill be doing...and this weekend I just did what I’d like to call a "white gin Sangria".

Sangria is typically the mix of wine and fruits, but since i can remember, sangria is what my father did at home when we were young and we had parties. He would mix soft drinks with bits of wine, and available alcohol with lots of fruits. It was really the only alcoholic drink we were allowed to drink besides Champagne. As i Grew UP, I started to make the Sangrias at home for everyone else, I'd mix whatever it  had, from Martini to whiskey, to coke and fanta, and juice and in the end I’d add the fruit.

I can say i have a thing with mixing drinks :) at least people tend to like...i never make the same drink twice though, since i don't have a recipe...i just mix so it's virtually impossible to have exactly the same drink.

A few weeks ago, i went to my cousins house, and on the way they asked me specifically to buy green grapes juice. I took and it was to mix with the GIN, i have drank Gin with lots of things (a lot), never with green grape juice...I was frankly surprised by the combination, it had a very soft taste, masking the Gin strong flavor and it was sooooo TASTY. So this week i felt like drinking sangria, but not the one with red wine and stuff...so I thought, I really got surprised with that Gin and juice (the green grape one) what if i make a sangria out of that?

So I did...here is my "white gin sangria" recipe....don't ask me for the measurements as i just mix...but i can say i used very little amount of gin...more of the green juice and it tasted awesome! On the next day there was a bit left...it tasted even better after soaking all the fruit taste during the night.

White Gin Sangria

Fruits (use as you wish)

strawberry

apple

kiwi

pineapples

grapes (wish i had the green ones)

Sprite (soft drink)

Gin

Green apple juice (ceres)

Just Mix it all up and have fun.
